In 1911, Elizabeth Coleman White and Frederick Vernon Coville united to carry out the mutual goal of taming the wild blueberry. The film documents the history of this collaboration and the birth of the blueberry industry. It also knits together an analysis of contemporary blueberry commerce and science.
