Beneath the 12-mile reef : Greek-American father and son sponge diving entrepreneurs, Mike and Tony Petrakis find themselves in plenty of scrapes over fishing territory with the Rhys' - a rival family of English descended hook-boat fishermen who are prepared to resort to violence and even murder to maintain their established fishing grounds.
