The declining years of Oscar Wilde are drawn into compelling focus in this bravura effort from star/screenwriter/director Rupert Everett, as the flamboyant British wit--having fled to the continent after serving his indecency conviction--caroused and bitterly ruminated over his circumstances to such few remaining supporters and paramours as Bosie Douglas (Colin Morgan) and Robbie Ross (Edwin Thomas).
