At five years old, Macy Dillon drew a picture in the guestbook of a Carolina beach house. The next year, she found a little boy's drawing on the opposite page. The exchange continued for eleven years, until tragedy ends her visits to the beach. On her final trip, Macy asks her friend to draw one last picture and hide the book in hopes that one day she will return to find it -- and him.
