The purple glove murders

In Southern California, Gail Brevard and her law partner Conrad 'Connie' Osterlitz are relaxing at their mountain hideaway. When retired Justice Winston Craig is found dead, face down on Black Bear Lake, Gail is asked to find the cause of his death. She becomes convinced it is linked to one of his old cases. However, when Connie is attacked and lies near death, Gail must use all her resources to solve the crime before it's too late...
