Bandit Visits: We are having lots of visits from Broadview School students this month to celebrate Canadian Library Month and Saskatchewan Library Week!

 

Chill Vibes Hangout every Wednesday AND Friday drop-in from 3:30-5:30pm - Activities to pick from: Lego, colouring, board and card games, DIY sewing and embroidery, DIY friendship bracelets, and snacks are available; Storytime on Friday, October 17 at 10:30am - Enjoy stories and play opportunities with your child! Suitable for children 5 and under - caregiver must be in attendance

 

Board Games available Wednesdays and Fridays from October, Novemebr and December - Win a prize if you play all three games each month! This month we have Smash Up, Splendor, and Flick 'em Up, suitable for teens and adults

 

Book Club for October 2025 - This month's book is The Paragon Hotel by Lyndsay Faye, and is available to pick up during open hours. Copies are available in both regular and large print, as well as digitally on the Libby App. The meeting date and location will be confirmed soon. New members are always welcome! Join the Broadview Library Book Club group on Facebook or WhatsApp for more information, or feel free to ask at the library. Next month, our book will be Hercule Poirot's Christmas by Agatha Christie

 

Everybody Programs: Puzzle Exchange - Feel free to take a complimentary puzzle or board game from the shelves in the Community Room. Once you've finished enjoying it, you can either return it to swap for another, or share it with someone else to enjoy!; Community Puzzle Board - Take a moment to join in on the community puzzle located on the table! It's there for everyone to enjoy. Once we complete this one, we'll bring out another; Boredom Busters - Discover a variety of fun games and activities available for everyone to enjoy at the branch anytime. Check out the tables and colourful bins on the shelves for something exciting to try

 

Community Callout: Have an idea for a craft or activity? Wish to share your skills and knowledge with others? Broadview Library would love to hear from you. Printing charge is $0.25 per page (black and white, letter size only). Need to borrow a portable wi-fi hotspot? Ask us about how to order the Kajeet SmartSpot!; Book Sale - Small selection available all year round in the Community Room. Please ask library staff regarding the donation guidelines!
