Chidlren's Programs: Art Attack on Friday, October 3 at 3:30pm - Register to join Maegan and learn abotu American artist Roy Lichtenstein, and create a comic/pop art inspired Halloween picture. Ages 8+; Afterschool Movie on Friday, October 24 at 3:30pm - We will be watching Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Free popcorn for attendees, but please bring your own drink. Movie will finish at 4:50pm; Kids Creative Writing on Monday, October 6 at 3:30pm - Do you like to write or want to improve your writing skills? Join us after school for a snack and 45 minutes of creative writing; Treats and free books available 2-5pm for trick or treaters on Halloween. Treats sponsorted by Western Financial Group

 

Adult Programs: Books & Brews Book Club at Skout Brewery on October 8 at 7:00pm - Join us to discuss The Waters by Bonnie Jo Campbell. This month's title can be ordered in regular and large print thorugh the SILS app, or borrow a digital book or audiobook on the LIbby app; Adult DIY Halloween Painting on Thursday, October 9 at 6:30pm - Create a textured ghost or pumpkin painting. This program is free ot attend, but space is limited. Please register; Read & Create Book Club on Thursday, October 16 at 6:30pm - Register to discuss our fiction title Flying Time and to createorigami. There is limited space available, so please register; Prime Timers Book Club on Friday, October 31 at 10:45am - This month's pick is All is Not Forgotten by Wendy Walker. Copies available at the library at the beginning of the month; Tech Time with Age Friendly on Tuesday, October 28 at 6:30pm - Tech Time with Moosomin's Age Friendly is back! Want to learn more about yoru device or just have technology questions? Join the volunteers from Age Friendly for an hour of help. No registration requried

 

Teen Programs: Teens Create on Thursday, October 23 at 6:30pm - Drop in and create something spooky with our cupplies. We'll have Cricut designs ready to cut, as well as paints and canvases. Feel free to bring t-shirts, bags, or cups to add Cricut designs to. This program is free for ages 13-18; Saskatchewan Library Week from October 14-17 - Visit and borrow material from the library this week to enter to win a Harry Potter Lego set and illustrated edition of a Harry Potter book. Open to all ages. The more you visit, the more chances to win; Drop-In Programs: Button Making on Tuesday, October 21 and Wednesday, October 22 from 3:30-4:30pm - Drop in and create. We'll have designs for youto colour or create your own design, or give new life to an old picture book. Buttons per person limited each day; Family Programs: Scrabble Time for all ages on Thursday, September 4 at 7:00pm - Join us to play Scrabble! All ages and ability levels welcome. Please feel free to bring your Scrabble board if you have one; Story Time on Fridays, October 10 and 24 at 10:00am - For families with children 5 and under, join us for an hour while we read, craft, and play together. Each week will have a new theme; Halloween Movie on Thursday, October 30 at 6:00pm - Get ready for Halloween with a movie night as we watch a 90s classic, Casper. We'll have popcorn and apple cider for attendees. All ages welcome
