The tiny mission fortress at San Antonio has fallen after fierce, heroic resistance. Now it seems nothing can stop General Santa Anna and his army from blowing across Texas like a gale-force wind. But the ragtag troops of Sam Houston's Texas Volunteer Army are biding their time. They'll bring the battle to Santa Anna when he least expects it, and bring the cause of independence with them.
