By 1970, racial tension was high in Gallatin, Tennessee. Eddie Sherlin and Bill Ligon grew up on opposite sides of the tracks, playing basketball together wherever they found a hoop. Years later, the boys faced each other in a championship game between their segregated high schools. What happened that night would challenge Eddie and Bill -- and transform their town.
