Snow

Jessica, whose mother died at her childbirth, is the neglected daughter of a disappointed Welsh duke, who had hoped she would be born male and his heir. He remarries and Jessica grows up virtually ignored. The independent and headstrong Jessica, or Snow as she comes to be known, quickly realizes that her stepmother is her enemy. She flees the estate, moving to London where she is embraced by a band of urban outcasts. But stepmom is still a threat...
