Prairie tales

Introduction : The inspiration for this little book came from my granddaughter, Alexandra Raney, who presented me with a little book of blank pages and asked me to write in it some stories about how things were done and happenings when I was a girl, and then give it back to her. I was born in 1914, so readers will know the period of time I relate to.
