To view image click on "Access Content Now" above "Neil Farber (1975 - ) was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He studied at the University of Manitoba earning his BFA with First Class Honours (1997). In 1996, Neil Farber and fellow art students Michael Dumontier, Marcel Dzama, Drue Langlois, Jon Pylypchuk, and Adrian Williams founded an art collective, The Royal Art Lodge. This group met weekly to draw collaboratively, often working on a small scale and including text. The group disbanded in 2008, but Farber and Dumontier have continued a collaborative practice, and Farber lives and works in Winnipeg. Since then, Farber has had several group and solo exhibitions internationally, including London, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, and New York City. Farber's work is held in private and public collections, including Museum of Modern Art (New York), Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), Olbricht Collection (Essen and Berlin), National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa), and Winnipeg Art Gallery (Winnipeg)."
