A year earlier, Jaimie Kincaid learned that her beloved cousin, Nate, had been killed, beaten to death in what the police believed was a drug deal gone wrong. He had been found by his friend, Dillon Gaynor. Jaimie had always felt that Dillon knew more than he told the police, and now she is determined to get the information out of him and find out what really happened to Nate.
