Few individuals have had as significant an impact on prairie history and society as Edward Alexander (E.A.) Partridge. A founding member of the Territorial Grain Growers' Association, the Grain Growers' Grain Company, and later the United Grain Growers, he was active in the original farmers' union and was an advocate of agrarian, and later, radical political action.
