A young orphan girl is abandoned by her aunt to live with her grandfather deep in the Swiss Alps. The wonderful young HEIDI enchantes the lonely old man and ignites sparks of joy and nestled high in the mountains, she finds a warm and beautiful home. But Heidi's happy life is disrupted when her rich Uncle Sessemann decides to bring her down to the city to live with her crippled cousin Klara. Sad and lonely away from the Alps, Heidi once again...
