Joel quits his job as chief of scouts to travel to Texas to claim his piece of land. He needed to forget the killings he has seen and done. But he has to confront Texas pistoleros, and then aided by a bunch of ex-Missouri brush boys, he faces the task of rescuing two women held by comancheros in their stronghold.
