The sun devils

Apacheria was part of the Great South Desert country, arid, hot and full of death and menace. It was also the heartland of the Apaches, and was claimed and fought over by the US Army. The Apaches were the 'Sun Devils' the tough and resourceful lords of the South Desert. Few men were their match, and the men like Verlade, Maldonado and Meier had to go to the door of death to equal them.
