The Hacketts were a well established family of ranchers in Bronco County. the patriarc of the clan, Old Hack, died by injury to a rogue stallion and his son Gabe was now the owner of the ranch. Complications occur when a half-brother shows up to stake his claim on the ranch. It also seems that other people outside of the family also want a piece of the ranch.
