My darling Geraldine

It is 1912 and Laurence Wylie's parents have decided that he should work in London for a year, to learn English law, before becoming a junior partner in his family's law firm in Scotland. He has drifted into an engagement with Monica Fleming, the daughter of family friends, but in London he meets and falls in love with Geraldine Taylor, who is a suffragette.
