A Gulf War veteran and washed-up prizefighter Frank Diaz, finds himself and his family evicted from their New York City home. But after months spent working as a day laborer and living in a homeless shelter, Frank finally receives good news on Christmas Eve: there's an apartment available in a nearby housing project if Frank can prove he's legally employed.
