Silent tears

VHS 1998

Based on a true story, the hardships of a Cree family caught in the bush when the father falls ill with a lump on his neck are shown. The mother decides to cut out the lump herself, the daughter looks after the trap lines, and the father recovers. He burns the lump so that the illness will never strike his family again.
