On August 9 - 13th, 1993 the 2nd Annual Elders gathering was held at Waden Bay, on the Northwest end of historic Lac La Ronge. Main purpose was to unite northern Elders to record the rich knowledge they possess, either through cultural activities, traditional lifestyles, languages they use and storytelling.
