Cutting for stone
When their Indian mother dies in childbirth and their British surgeon father disappears, twin brothers Marion and Shiva Stone are orphaned. As they come of age in revolutionary Ethiopia, they share not only a fascination with medicine but a passion for the same woman. Marion flees his homeland, eventually making his way to America where he is forced to confront his past and rely on the two people who have betrayed him on the deepest level.
