Between shades of gray

Arrested by Soviet police and sent to Siberia, fifteen-year-old Lina Vilkas and her family must fight to stay alive. At a prison camp, Lina struggles to maintain her integrity without losing all hope in mankind. However, when her father is sentenced to death, Lina promises herself she will write everything about her experience there and honor her family and fellow Lithuanians by burying the story in Lithuanian ground.
