Emma has long suspected that something is not quite what it should be. She looks nothing like her parents or younger sister. Things spin out of control when she takes a summer job looking after an eccentric elderly neighbour and is drawn into playing a strange board game. For the first time in her life she dreams-- frightening dreams that gradually begin invading her waking hours.
