The Manions of America
The O'Manion family escapes the hardships of Ireland's Great Famine in search of a better life across the Atlantic. Over the course of three decades, Rory O'Manion rises to prominence manufacturing gunpowder in America and becomes a successful Philadelphia businessman and Union army officer during the Civil War, before returning to the aid of his war-torn homeland.
