Qhapaq Ñan la voix des Andes

Over the course of several months in 2007, photographer Aurélia Frey, journalist Sébastien Jallade and film director Stéphane Pachot immersed themselves in the Andean communities that populate the Qhapaq Ñan, the primary ancient Incan royal road. They traveled over 1,200 miles in southern Ecuador and Peru and captured the contemporary Andean reality of this recently designated Unesco World Heritage Site.
