Poor little rich girl
Elaine discovers that she was adopted at birth; her real mother being Carrie Williams, a best-selling author. She gets Carrie's details from a 'Who's Who' and goes to Cornwall to trace her, but her mother is away. Elaine then takes a job with Carrie's husband, who owns a local antiques shop, and meets Michaela, her young half-sister. However, life becomes complicated when the man she becomes involved with has problems far greater than hers...
