When legendary film director Jack Hussar returns to Hollywood after a long hiatus he soon up to his old antics. During his first night in town, he embarks on a long night of gambling, drinking and breaking the law. It ends with him seducing Diana. Years later, Jack's son comes to Hollywood to both follow his father's footsteps and step out of his shadow. An old Diana watches as her daughter falls for the younger Jack.
