Memories of a fox
As a child of the Depression in Sydney's inner west, Harry Gallagher learnt life the hard way. The resourcefulness and determination Harry gained were to stand him in good stead, when his swimmers, Jon Henricks, Dawn Fraser and other swimming legends, took on the world at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics; and Harry, sustained through the years by the secret love of a remarkable woman, became Australia's most successful swimming coach.
