The story of sixteen-year-old Sora Naegino, a Japanese girl who has recently arrived in the United States with dreams of becoming a star acrobat with the Kaleido Stage circus show.
To protect his daughter, Tetsuo kills her abusive boyfriend, Nobuto, and covers it up. But when it turns out Nobuto is the son of a Yakuza leader, Tetsuo is given two choices: admit guilt or help the gang solve the 'mystery' of his disappearance.
